CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY

We find out today who will be playing in the Super Bowl on February 9th. Since the 49ers are not playing I can actually watch as a sports fan instead of a fanatic! 2 of 4 teams playing today, I do certainly want 2 teams eliminated. My prediction soon. These playoffs have shown how important quarterback play is, with all 4 quarterbacks playing at an elite level. If you look at Brock Purdy’s playoff numbers; 6 games 107 completions 62.7 completion % and 1343 yards 6 TDs and 1 Int and a passer rating of 96.2. He needs and will be paid.

Last Saturday, I attended a Giants fan fest in Napa and was super impressed with the sheer volume of fans that attended and the excitement that they showed. Even with what the evil empire is doing down south, having an expanded playoff I feel the Giants have a legitimate shot at a wildcard spot. More on that in the future.

Last Sunday we saw the movie September 5 about the Israeli Olympic Team that was held hostage and subsequently killed during 1972 Olympics. The movie was outstanding and for Tyler this was a good educational experience as well. It’s a different type of movie in that it’s not full of special effects but surrounds the story and characters. Highly recommend !

We also saw Some Like it Hot at the Orpheum Theater last night. It was a great “older” type musical with a great score and choreography. Very entertaining!
